NS-15E Check For Shorted Distributor Pickup (N6 Ckt)

Complete No Start Test 15-Step D, before proceeding.
1. With 60-way connector disconnected and the ignition switch On, connect the negative lead of a voltmeter to ground.
2. Disconnect the distributor pickup harness connector.
3. Touch the positive lead of the voltmeter to the N6 oranghe wire at cavity 52 of the SMEC 60-way connector.
4. If voltmeter indicates at least 8 volts, replace the distributor pickup.
5. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, proceed to Step F.
