Wipers Run Without Delay With Switch In Delay Position

1. Place wiper switch in low position, then disconnect 8 cavity electrical connector from intermittent wipe control unit and inspect contacts for damage.

2. Connect a test lamp between cavities 1 and 3 of the electrical connector. Test lamp should light once per wipe cycle.
3. If test lamp lights as specified, proceed to step 4. If there is periodic flashing, the control unit is defective and should be replaced.

4. Check for periodic test lamp flashing between motor terminals P1 and P2. If periodic flashing is present, check system wiring.
