2A Fault Code 34 Vacuum Solenoid

1. Connect the diagnostic read-out tool.
2. Connect a voltmeter to the X-36 tan/red wire of the speed control servo harness connector and ground.
3. Put the system into ATM Test 08 and turn the speed control switch to the On position.
4. If voltmeter is pulsating between 0 and 12 volts, proceed to Test 2, Step B.
5. If voltmeter is reading battery voltage, proceed to Test 2, Step E.
6. If voltmeter is reading between 0 and 1 volt, proceed to Test 2, Step F.
