Fault Code 14

Fig. 12 ATC wiring harness and lead connectors:

1. Remove ATC control, then disconnect electrical connector and measure resistance between pins 7 and 9. Resistance should measure between 0 and infinity with temperature between -35°F and 150°F. If resistance is not within specifications, proceed to step 2. If resistance is within specifications, replace ATC control.
2. Disconnect 16-way electrical connector from ATC unit, located above the PVM. Measure resistance between pins 10 and 14 of female connector held in place by metal bracket. If resistance is within specifications, repair circuit between ATC and 16-way male connector and recheck system. If resistance is not within specifications, proceed to step 3.
3. Remove ambient sensor and measure resistance. If resistance is within specifications, repair circuit between sensor and 16-way female connector. If resistance is not within specifications, replace ambient sensor.
