1. Check continuity between control relay terminals, Fig. 89, with relay coil energized and not energized. To energize coils, L1 and L2, apply battery voltage across terminals 6 and 4.
2. Check continuity between control relay terminals, Fig. 90, with relay coil energized and not energized. To energize coil, L3, apply battery voltage across terminals 8 and 4.
3. If test results are not satisfactory, replace control relay.
