This bulletin supersedes Technical Service Bulletin 21-04-89 which should be removed from your files. The heading "new" and "old" have been added to the Pressure Plate Identification Chart, (dated 02/13/89).


The method of pressure plate identification for the KM170 transaxle has been changed. This change was effective on May, 1988 with transaxle No. ER8380. The new pressure plates are completely interchangeable with earlier built units. A pressure plate identification chart is included below for your convenience.
