On Colt models, the fan relay is located in the relay box which is located in engine compartment.
1. Using a suitable ohmmeter, check continuity between relay terminals, when battery voltage is supplied to terminal No. 2 and terminal No. 5 is grounded.
2. With relay de-energized, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and No. 3 and between terminals No. 2 and No. 5.
3. With relay energized, continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and No. 6.
4. If relay performance is not satisfactory, replace as necessary.
