REVERSE SHIFT LEVER AND IDLER GEAR REVISION


Effective 7-1-88, KM200, KM201 and KM206 series transaxles had the reverse shift lever ratio changed to increase the amount of reverse idler gear engagement. To correspond with the shift lever change, the reverse idler gear has also been revised.

The revised components may be installed in transaxles produced prior to 7-1-88. However, the parts are interchangeable only when used as a set (the shift lever and idler gear replaced at the same time with the revised components).
