Front Door Window Regulator

REMOVAL STEPS
1. Door trim and waterproof film Door window glass adjustment
2. Door window glass
3. Door glass holder
4. Front window regulator assembly

NOTES:
1. Reverse the removal procedures to reinstall.
2. Arrows show the installation position of trim clip.

SERVICE POINTS OF REMOVAL
1. Removal Of Door Trim And Waterproof Film
Refer to Door Panel/Service and Repair.

2. Removal Of Door Window Glass





1. Lower the door glass to the access hole position.
2. Remove the glass installation screws from the front window regulator assembly.

NOTE: When removing the glass mounting screws support the glass to avoid dropping it.





3. Remove the front door window glass by pulling it upward.





4. Removal Of Front Window Regulator Assembly
1. Remove the regulator installation bolt, and then remove the regulator from the access hole in the door panel.
2. For models equipped with power windows, remove the power window motor from the front window regulator.





SERVICE POINTS OF INSTALLATION
4. Installation Of Front Window Regulator Assembly
1. Apply a coating of multipurpose grease to the front window regulator.

Specified Grease: MOPAR Multipurpose Grease Part No. 2932524 or equivalent

2. Tighten the front window regulator in the sequence shown in the illustration.





2. Installation Of Door Window Glass
Tighten the door window glass in the sequence shown in the illustration.





DOOR WINDOW GLASS ADJUSTMENT
Normally the door window glass does not need to be adjusted. If there is anything wrong, adjust by the following procedure.

1. Remove the window regulator assembly mounting bolts and elongate the mounting holes.
2. Temporarily mount the bolts, move the upper installation back and forth and adjust the tilted angle of the glass.

INSTALLATION OF DOOR TRIM AND WATERPROOF FILM
Reinstall waterproof film and door trim panel. Refer to Door Panel/Service and Repair.
