Toe Adjustment

Front wheel toe-out is adjusted only after the steering gear has been centered. Excessive toe-out will wear the inner edge of tires. Insufficient toe-out will wear outer edge of tires. To adjust toe-out, turn tie rods in or out.
1. Loosen tie rod locknut (A - righthand threads), then (B - lefthand threads).
2. Turn adjusting sleeve (C) to required length, ensuring both tie rod ends have an equal amount of threads showing.
3. Torque locknuts and to 26 lb-ft.
