Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Removal:
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
2.
Remove air cleaner.
3.
Disconnect electrical connector.
4.
Remove the two
Throttle Position Sensor mounting screws and remove
TPS.
INSTALLATION 1.
Install
TPS and tighten screws to 2 Nm (20 lb-in).
2.
Connect electrical connector.
3.
Install air cleaner.
4.
Connect negative battery cable.
