EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

Canister Purge And EGR Solenoids:

1. Remove the vacuum and electrical connectors from solenoid.
2. Remove mounting fastener and remove solenoid pack.
3. Depress the tab on top of the solenoid and slide the solenoid downward out of the mounting bracket.
4. Insert new solenoid in bracket and slide up until solenoid locks in bracket.
5. Install solenoid bracket on vehicle and install mounting fastener.
6. Connect vacuum and electrical connectors.
