Less Tilt Steering

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On Horizon and Omni models, remove lower instrument panel and pad assembly.
3. On Acclaim, LeBaron Landau, Shadow, Spirit and Sundance models, remove lower steering column cover.
4. On all models, remove steering column cover.
5. Lower steering column for access to ignition switch.
6. Remove two screws attaching ignition switch steering column.
7. Rotate switch 90 degrees and pull up to disengage from ignition switch rod.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Rotate switch 90 degrees and push down to engage ignition switch rod.
b. Install two ignition switch attaching screws but do not tighten.
c. Adjust ignition switch by carefully pushing up on switch to take up slack in rod system. This must be done with ignition lock in Lock position and key removed.
