Throttle Body Temperature Sensor: Description and Operation
Automatic Idle Speed (AIS) Motor And Throttle Body Temperature Sensor - Early Model Year Convertible Only:
This sensor monitors the temperature of the throttle body and communicates voltages to the Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC) that are relative to degrees of temperature. The SBEC uses this information to adjust the air/fuel mixture for hot restart conditions.
