Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Throttle Position Sensor Replacement:
1.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2.
Disconnect the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) wiring connector.
3.
Remove the mounting screws (2), and remove
TPS from throttle shaft.
4.
Install new
TPS on throttle shaft and install screws, torquing them to 17 lb-in (2 Nm).
5.
Connect the
TPS wiring connector.
6.
Connect the negative battery cable.
