DISCUSSION:

Outboard position seat belts for the middle (second) and rear (third) seats are now available for the subject vehicles with an extension that lowers position of the turning loop. These belts may be more comfortable for shorter passengers than the belts without the extensions because the position of the shoulder portion of the belt is lower and less likely to rub on the passengers neck.

NOTE:
IF THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH SEVEN PASSENGER SEATING (SALES CODE CYE, CYK or CYT), THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT NON-EXTENDED TURNING LOOP SEAT BELT MUST BE USED IN THE MIDDLE (SECOND) SEAT RIGHT POSITION.
