Identification of System

Vehicles equipped with the air bag system can be identified by the presence of an extra large horn pad in the center of the steering wheel, bearing the SRS air bag logo.

The following options, available on all 1992 AS body vehicles, are located as follows:

Auto Door Locks - This option, located on each front door trim panel, will "Lock" and "Unlock" the doors by pressing the door lock switch toward the desired function.

Compass Mini-Trip - This option, located in the overhead console, displays information on outside temperature, compass direction, and trip information.

Courtesy Lamps - Located on each front door trim panel and overhead console (if equipped). System includes the rear dome lamp.

Electronic Instrument Instrument Cluster - This option, located in front of the steering wheel inside the dashboard, has digital readouts for: Speedometer, Odometer & Trip Odometer W/Reset. Digital graphic displays for: Tachometer, Oil Pressure, Fuel, and Temperature.

Electro/Mechanical Cluster - This option, located in front of the steering wheel inside the dashboard, has analog readouts for: Speedometer, Odometer, and a Trip Odometer w/Reset. Analog gauges for: Fuel and Temperature. Lights for: Low Fuel, Oil Pressure, Voltage, Liftgate Ajar, and Check Engine.

Illuminated Entry - This option has a white switch connected to the door handle mechanism inside each front door.

Intermitent Wipers - Standard.

Liftgate Release - Button located in the center of the Instrument Panel next to rear defog button (if equipped).
