Fuel Filter: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The filter protects the injectors from dirt, water and other foreign matter. The filter is located under the vehicle along the drivers side frame rail. Replace filter at intervals specified in the Maintenance Schedule chart found in Maintenance Schedules.
