Brake Fluid: Specifications
Use new brake fluid only, to top off the master cylinder or refill system. Never use reclaimed fluid, unmarked or unspecified fluid, fluid not meeting SAE/DOT standards, fluid marked 70R1, or fluid from a container that has been left open.
