Speed Control Output

PURPOSE

The speed control output is used to signal speed control solenoids.


OPERATION

The speed control system is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM adjusts the vacuum to the throttle actuator via the speed control vacuum and vent solenoids. As with other output devices, the speed control solenoids are controlled by the PCM switching the ground ON and OFF.
