EGR Backpressure Transducer: Service and Repair

EGR Valve & Transducer:

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect Electronic EGR Transducer (EET) vacuum supply hose.
2. Disconnect EET electrical connector.
3. Remove EGR valve mounting bolts.
4. Remove EGR valve and EET assembly.


INSTALLATION

1. Clean gasket mating surfaces.
2. Install EGR valve and EET assembly, with new gasket.
3. Install EGR valve mounting bolts and torque to 200 in-lbs (23 Nm).
4. Connect EET vacuum supply hose.
5. Connect EET electrical connector.
