Disabling Ignition System

1. On front wheel drive models, disable ignition system as follows:
a. On vehicles equipped with a conventional distributor, disconnect coil wire from distributor cap center tower. Secure wire to a good ground to prevent engine from starting.
b. On vehicles equipped with direct ignition system, unplug ignition coils electrical connector.
2. Except front wheel drive models, disconnect distributor connector.
