Slips In Forward Drive Positions

1. Low oil level.
2. Aerated fluid.
3. Incorrect throttle linkage adjustment.
4. Incorrect gearshift control linkage adjustment.
5. Incorrect control cable adjustment.
6. Hydraulic pressures too low.
7. Valve body malfunction or leakage.
8. Accumulator sticking, broken rings or spring.
9. Clutches or servos sticking or not operating.
10. Worn or faulty front and/or rear clutch.
11. Overrunning clutch not holding.
12. Worn or broken input shaft and/or reaction shaft support seal rings.
13. Clogged oil filter.
14. Faulty oil pump.
15. Overrunning clutch worn, broken or seized.
16. Incorrect kickdown band adjustment.
