Wiper Do Not Return to Park Position

1. Remove wiper motor wire connector, then clean terminals. Reconnect connector, then test motor operation. If problem persists, proceed as follows.
2. Place wiper switch in Off position, then disconnect motor wiring connector.

3. Connect a voltmeter between terminal 2 and ground strap.
4. If voltage is present, connect an ohmmeter between terminals 3 or L and 1 or P2.
5. If continuity is indicated between these terminals, replace defective motor assembly.
6. If no continuity is indicated, repair open circuit in wiper control switch or wiring harness.
