Warning Lamp Circuit Open

NOTE: This code becomes active as soon as the condition is detected and becomes stored when the ignition is switched off.

WHEN MONITORED: With the ignition on, the ACM needs to turn the lamp on because of detection of a malfunction, or during a lamp check.

SET CONDITION: With voltage and current on, the air bag warning lamp driver circuit is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- Faulty warning lamp
- Open fused ignition switch output circuit to cluster (message center - AB body only; information center - AS body only)
- Air bag warning lamp driver circuit short to ground
- Air bag warning lamp driver circuit short to voltage
- Faulty cluster printed circuit board (message center - AB body only; information center - AS body only)
- Loose or poor connection at connector terminal
