Required lubricant for the NV4500 is MOPAR Manual Transmission Lubricant, P/N 4874459. This is the only lubricant to be used in NV4500 transmissions. No other lubricants are acceptable, or recommended.

Lubricant capacity of the NV4500 is approximately 3.78 liters (8.0 pints). This represents the approximate quantity needed to refill the transmission after a lubricant change or overhaul.
