Drags or Locks
1. Kickdown band out of adjustment.2. Low-reverse band out of adjustment.
3. Kickdown and/or low-reverse servo, band or linkage malfunction.
4. Front and/or rear clutch faulty.
5. Planetary gearsets broken or seized.
6. Overrunning clutch worn, broken or seized.
7. Hydraulic pressure too low.
8. Valve body; nicks, scratches and burrs on valves and plugs. Rounded edges on valve lands. Scratches on bores, collapsed springs. Nicked or warped mating surfaces.
9. Accumulator, broken seal rings, scratched bore, broken or collapsed spring, cracked piston.
