THEORY OF OPERATION:
The RAM self-test begins immediately after the CAB's microprocessor comes out of the reset mode in response to the vehicle ignition being turned on. The purpose of the self-test is to verify that every RAM bit can reliably be used to keep track of numeric and logic decision results as the CAB control program stored in ROM is executed.
