Transfer Case: Adjustments

Fig. 1 Transfer Case Shifter Assembly & Linkage Adjustment:

1. Place shift lever in 2H position, then raise vehicle and loosen shift rod lock bolt at trunnion. Ensure rod moves smoothly in trunnion.
2. Ensure range lever is still in 2H position, then torque shift rod lock bolt to 7.5 ft-lbs. Lower vehicle and verify correct operation.
