Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Testing and Inspection






ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminals.
Standard value:
- 9k to 11k ohms [at 25°C (77°F)]
- 0.6k to 0.8k ohms [at 100°C (212°F)]
