Inspections Using Scan Tool
- Sensor Read Test
- Input State Test
- Output State Test
- Actuator Test
- And Special Function

1. Carry out inspection by means of the data list and the actuator test function.
- If there is a malfunction, check and repair the chassis harnesses and components.
2. Re-check using the scan tool and check that the malfunction has been eliminated as a result of the repairs.
3. Erase the diagnostic trouble code from memory.
4. Remove the scan tool.
5. Start the engine again and carry out a road test to confirm that the problem has disappeared.

CAUTIONS:
If any of the items in the list below have occurred, access the SPECIAL FUNCTION screen to reset the Idle Air Control (IAC).
- The throttle body or IAC motor has been replaced.
- The IAC motor related circuit has been opened during engine running or IAC motor operation test.

If any of the items in the list below have been replaced, re-learn cam/crank using scan tool:
- Camshaft
- Camshaft position target magnet
- Camshaft position sensor
- Cylinder head
- Cylinder Block
- Water pump
- PCM
