Front Door Limiter: Service and Repair

Front Door Check Strap Roll Pin:

REMOVAL
1. Remove front door trim panel.
2. Remove radio speaker.
3. Remove roll-pin holding door check strap to hinge pillar.

Front Door Check Strap:

4. Remove nuts holding check strap to door end frame.
5. Separate check strap from door through speaker hole.

INSTALLATION

Front Door Check Strap:

1. Place check strap in position on door through speaker hole.
2. Install nuts to hold check strap to door end frame.

Front Door Check Strap Roll Pin:

3. Install roll-pin to hold door check strap to hinge pillar.
4. Install radio speaker.
5. Install front door trim panel.
