Starter Control Circuit Test Notes
The starter control circuit consists of a
starter solenoid,
starter relay,
ignition switch and clutch pedal interlock switch (manual transmission) or
neutral safety switch (automatic transmission).
Disable ignition system on gasoline engines or fuel system on diesel engines prior to performing test procedures.
