Squeak/Rattle Noise at Left Side of Instrument Panel

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
1. Cluster bezel end cap to cluster bezel squeak.
2. Cluster bezel end cap to door trim panel and/or steering column cover rattle.
DIAGNOSIS:
Squeak noise can be confirmed by pressing on the cluster bezel end cap. Rattle noise can confirmed by checking clearance between the door trim panel and the steering column cover to the depression area of the cluster bezel end cap, a minimum of 1/8 in. (3 mm) clearance in required. If either condition is confirmed, perform the repair procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
2 4673241 Isolator
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing two isolators one on the instrument cluster bezel end cap and one between the steering column cover and the instrument cluster bezel end cap.
1. Apply one isolator, P/N 4673241, in the depression for the door trim panel (under the demister outlet) of the instrument cluster bezel end cap (refer to Illustration).
2. Apply one isolator, P/N 4673241, between the steering column cover and the lower edge of the instrument cluster bezel end cap (refer to illustration).
