Cross-Member: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle then remove rear tire and wheel assemblies.
2. Position a suitable jack under fuel tank just forward of crossmember to help support fuel tank when crossmember is removed.
3. Disconnect lateral link from spindle.
4. Remove bolts attaching crossmember to frame rails.
5. Lower crossmember and lateral links out of vehicle as an assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Transfer lateral links to replacement crossmember.
