NOTE:
PERFORM THIS PORTION OF THE REPAIR PROCEDURE ONLY IF THE QUIET MAT DOOR CATCH IS DAMAGED OR MISSING.

1. Open the sliding door.

2. Support the bottom of the door near the lower roller bracket with a floor jack.

CAUTION:
USE A PROTECTIVE MAT BETWEEN THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR AND THE FLOOR JACK SUPPORT PAD TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE PAINTED SURFACE OF THE DOOR.

3. Remove the bolt that secures the bumper bracket (Figure 3) and remove the bumper bracket.

4. Remove the two bolts that secure the lower roller bracket and remove the lower roller bracket.

If the door was properly adjusted prior to replacing the quiet mat door catch, and/or the sliding door is underflush to the body, and/or the rear striker is not positioned in the center of the latch, and/or the stabilizer pin is not adjusted properly, perform the "ADJUST SLIDING DOOR - MINOR ADJUSTMENT" Repair Procedure. If the sliding door is not aligned properly to the body, perform the following "ADJUST SLIDING DOOR - MAJOR ADJUSTMENT" Repair Procedure.
