Distributor Cap: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove two distributor cap hold down bolts.
2. Remove cap, (leave spark plug wires attached) and rotor.
3. Inspect cap and rotor for wear, carbon deposits or cracks, and replace if needed.

INSTALLATION
1. Install new rotor and cap.
2. Tighten two distributor cap hold down bolts.
3. Remove one spark plug wire at a time from old cap and install on correct tower on new cap.
