Ignition Timing: Adjustments

PROCEDURE
Base Ignition Timing IS NOT Adjustable. Do not attempt to adjust by turning distributor. Ignition timing and spark advance are controlled by PCM.

If a timing problem is suspected, SEE Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Procedures.

DIAGNOSTIC NOTE:
The distributor must be indexed correctly for determining fuel synchronization.
