Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes

Data Link Connector:

Vehicle will be equipped with one of these three connectors:

Tip: Reading codes requires the use of a DRBII Diagnostic Readout Box or Equivalent Scan Tool.

Procedure
1. Connect the Scan Tool to the vehicle by plugging the body diagnostic cable connector into the CCD data link connector.
2. To read codes follow scan tool manufacturer's instructions.

NOTE: The diagnostic test procedures in this manual have been designed specifically for use with the Chrysler DRBII (Diagnostic Readout Box II). However it should be possible to perform the same tests using an equivalent Scan Tool.

NOTE: It is not necessary to perform all of the tests in Diagnostic Charts to diagnose an individual code. Airbag System
