Test 38A - Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Visual Inspection

GENERAL INFORMATION
Whenever a "Wheel Speed Sensor" related trouble code is detected, a thorough visual inspection of the wiring harness MUST be performed. All connectors in the wiring harness must be inspected for proper insertion, terminal corrosion from road debris, (mud, salt, water, etc.) and/or push out. If any repairs are performed as a result of the visual inspection, perform the system Verification TEST VER-1 A. If the inspection does not reveal a problem, refer to the trouble code list at the below and perform the appropriate test. The following is information describes the location of each connector.
^ Rear sensor: located on top of differential
^ Chassis to rear sensor: located at left frame rail rear of fuel tank
^ Chassis to head lamp/dash harness: located at left frame rail behind left front splash shield
^ ABS module: under hood left side
^ Left front sensor: located below the ABS module at left fender side shield
^ Right front sensor: located above the right control arm at right fender side shield
