Cruise Control Switch: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 76 On/Off Switch Inspection:

1. Operate On/Off switch and inspect continuity as shown.
2. Connect terminal No. 1 to battery voltage and terminal No. 4 to ground, then place On/Off switch in On position.
3. Inspect voltage between terminal No. 5 and ground, voltage should be 12 volts.
4. Place On/Off switch in Off position, then Inspect voltage between terminal No. 5 and ground. Voltage should be 0 volts.

5. Measure resistance between terminals of SET, RESUME and CANCEL switches as shown.
