To check fluid, apply parking brake and set transaxle in Park or Neutral position. Allow engine to idle for at least one minute on level ground. A properly filled transaxle will read near the Add mark on the dipstick when fluid temperature is 70°F and in the Hot region when fluid temperature is 180°F.
