Torque Reduction Signal: Description and Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATION The torque reduction data link line, circuit T10, is connected between the Transmission Control Module
(TCM) and the
Powertrain Control Module (PCM). It is used as a communication link for the TCM to instruct the PCM to back down the engine torque output before the vehicle shifts.
