Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

1. With ignition switch in Off position, remove 60-way Controller Anti-lock Brake (CAB) connector retaining bolt, then disconnect connector from unit.
2. Remove two nuts securing CAB bracket to brake pedal bracket, then remove CAB from vehicle.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. When installing CAB connector, seat connector into CAB as much as possible by hand, then seat fully with retaining bolt.
b. Torque CAB bracket nuts to 21 ft. lbs. and connector retaining bolt to 35 inch lbs.
