Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

When performing diagnosis and testing procedures on this system, refer to wiring diagrams and connectors.

Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC):

ACCESSING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES
Connect a Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) or equivalent scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Follow scan tool manufacturer's instructions to access Body Control Module (BCM), read any stored diagnostic trouble codes and refer to "Diagnostic Trouble Interpretation" for further information regarding specific diagnostic trouble codes.

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE INTERPRETATION
Refer to Wiper and Washer Systems/Testing and Inspection/Procedures/Diagnostic Charts for wiper control system diagnostic charts.

CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES
Follow scan tool manufacturer's instructions to clear stored diagnostic trouble codes.
