Message Center

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The message center is located to the right of the instrument cluster. The message center contains the brake warning lamp, Anti-lock Brakes (ABS) or Rear Wheel Anti-Lock (RWAL) warning lamp, seat belt warning lamp, generator lamp, and airbag warning lamp.

When the ignition switch is in the START or RUN positions, it connects circuit A1 from fuse 15 in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) to circuit A21. Circuit A21 powers circuit G5 through fuse 17 in the fuse block. Circuit G5 supplies battery voltage to the brake warning lamp, airbag warning lamp, generator lamp and ABS or RWAL warning lamp in the message center.
