Power Window Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
2. Remove D-pillar trim panel.
3. Disconnect wire connector from power vent motor.
4. Remove nut holding crank to vent glass.

Vent Window Motor:




5. Remove bolts holding power vent motor to D-pillar.
6. Remove power vent motor.
7. Pull the crank system from the motor.

INSTALLATION
1. Push the crank system to the motor.
2. Install power vent motor.

Vent Window Motor:




3. Install bolts holding power vent motor to D-pillar.
4. Install nut holding crank to vent glass.
5. Connect wire connector from power vent motor.
6. Install D-pillar trim panel.
7. Connect battery negative cable.
Before installing crank, cycle replacement motor to the open position. Install crank hinge in extended position to the motor
