Transmission Relay

DESCRIPTION
This relay provides battery voltage to the overdrive (OD), torque converter clutch (TCC) and governor pressure or "variable force" solenoids.

OPERATION
Once battery voltage is applied to the solenoids, they are individually activated by the JTEC through OD, TCC and governor pressure outputs.

This relay is mounted in the engine compartment next to the brake vacuum booster.
