Instrument Panel End Cap

END CAP

REMOVAL

REMOVAL - DRIVER SIDE

1. Insert a finger into the pull cup formation molded into the end cap and pull firmly and sharply outward to disengage each of the snap clips that secure the end cap from their receptacles in the instrument panel base trim (Fig. 3)
2. Remove the end cap from the end of the instrument panel.

REMOVAL - PASSENGER SIDE

1. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, gently pry around the perimeter of the passenger side end cap to disengage each of the snap clips from their receptacles in the instrument panel base trim (Fig. 4).
2. Remove the end cap from the end of the instrument panel.

INSTALLATI0N

1. Position the end cap to the outboard end of the instrument panel.
2. Align the snap clips on the end cap with the receptacles in the instrument panel base trim (Fig. 4).
3. Using hand pressure, press firmly on the end cap over each of the snap clip locations until each of the snap clips is fully engaged in its receptacle in the instrument panel base trim.
