DEALER SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS

Safety Recall # 762 -- Integrated Child Seat Shoulder Belt Routing

^ This service requirement applies only to 1998 model year Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan; Plymouth Voyager and Grand Voyager; and Chrysler Town & Country (NS) minivans equipped with integrated child seats (Sales Code -- CYK or CYR) built at the St. Louis South assembly plant ("B" in the 11th VIN position) from November 9, 1997 through December 4, 1997 (MDH Il09XXthrough 120409).

^ The integrated child seat shoulder belts on the above listed vehicles may have been misrouted during assembly. To correct this condition, both of the integrated child seats on involved vehicles must be inspected and the shoulder belts must be rerouted if necessary.

^ Dealers were notified of this recall via an electronic mail (DMAIL) message dated December 9, 1997. Notification letters are now being mailed to owners of involved vehicles for which this service has not yet been completed according to our records.

^ Dealers are encouraged to consider alternative scheduling and servicing approaches for this recall. This repair does not require hoists or other full service facility special equipment and is a CHRYSLER MOBILE SERVICE approved repair.
